via Blerd City Con: Blerd City Con goes virtual with their event being live streamed this week, Friday December 11th through Sunday December 13th. Blerd City Con is a Black convergence which delves into the ner sphere bringing together the community and amplifying the global intellect featuring art, science, film and technology. The conference incorporates panels and workshops which spotlight anime, comic books, gaming, afrofuturism, science fiction, horror and fantasy authors.

Blerd City Con is a mixture of fun and social awareness. The Con is dedicated to the African descent and POC; “We are proud to present a discussion of the current American affairs panel, Our African Future: Voting, Protests & Police Brutality led by Veteran Black Panther Sadiki “Bro Shep” Olugbala and Spirit Child from the Zulu Nation.
Blerd City Con is excited to have the talented visionary Patrina Reddick, MSW, (PIMOSH Publishing Co.) debuting a film (documentary) about Autism during this year’s Blerd City’s Virtual Con. Her panel is entitled, Tackling the Magic in Autistic Habits: Why 1 in 5 People in America has the diagnosis.

Blerd City will feature internationally renowned and critically acclaimed presenters:
● Sheree Renée Thomas, award-winning fiction writer, editor, and poet, and author
of Dark Matter: A Century of Speculative Fiction from the African Diaspora and
Dark Matter: Reading the Bones.
● Warrington Hudlin is a veteran producer of film, television, and online media.
● Brittany Clemons is a Brooklyn-based writer, director, and producer of the film
Blight.
● Cedric Williams is an anime voice actor known for voicing Don and Cheetu.
