Press Release – On August 6th 2021 the Mech Warrior DJ Awesomus Prime and The Great Geek, Geeku bring you Godzilla VS Kong. A musical tribute to the legendary Kaiju, these two producers set out to deliver a dubstep track just as colossal as the 2 titan kings! Prime, hailing from South Jersey, met The Great Geek from Ohio at one of Geeku’s performances in Harrisburg, PA and the birth of something big began. These Blerd DJ/Producers knew they had to join forces to bring their love of anime, gaming and Kaiju movies together for a track that would take conventions and dance floors by storm.
Awesomus Prime is the convention DJ that never disappoints con goers with his larger then life nerdy performances. He’s been taking the East Coast and Midwest con scene by storm and earlier this year launched his record label, Kawaii Kunai, where he released the debut EP’s for Sake Bomb Party and himself. Geeku is the Columbus Ohio transplant from PA that has become a household name in the EDM circuit. You can’t go to any Southern Ohio or Pennsylvania rave without running into this man. Geeku has taken his love of all things geeky and infused it into his unique flavor of bass heavy music releasing more then 8 EP’s and singles.
Godzilla VS Kong is the follow up single for Awesomus Prime and Geeku. It delivers an audio story of the clash between everyone’s favorite atomic lizard and larger than life primate. With familiar elements from the movies, it has that bass heaviness Prime is known for but a wonky vibe that only Geeku could drop forcing you to feel this track to your core. If this Collab doesn’t make you want to rewatch the movie, there may be no hope for humanity.
