VORTEX CORP presents the largest digital Art tournament on the African continent through a
celebration of African digital artists via its maiden VX ART Tournament hosted at the COMIC CON
AFRICA (Online) 2020. Contrary to the competitive nature of tournaments this is designed to
create engagement between fan & artist, also creating fun and entertainment in the growing geek
culture community across the continent.
This tournament is meant to be 100% digital. Every week, judges will share their verdict via Zoom/
Facebook live which would then be shared via Instagram.
At the end of the tournament, all arts from the competition with profiles of artists are compiled into
ebook Magazine published on VORTEX247.COM. This would include a digital art exhibition
experience.

THE THEME: HUMANITY
In these strange times of a pandemic and lockdown, we are all exploring the inner space of our
thoughts and imagination deeper than ever. For artists, it’s the moment to find their voice and
show it the world. More than ever it’s time to celebrate Humanity in its purest form. That is to say
our capacity to co-create harmoniously and in solidarity. In this time of restriction, art and comics
are a chance to move around into fictional worlds and connect with each other.
Let’s show humanity through art and enlighten hidden talents!

Knock out stage : 31st august- 5th September (30 artists).
Quarter final : 7th September – 12th September (20 artists).
Semi-Final round : 14th September- 19th September (10 artists).
Final: 21st September to 27th September (5 artist)
