Grace and Peace Fam Bam! If you didn’t know, Twitch is the platform for everything gaming
related and creativity. You can find some of the biggest names in the gaming community there. I wanted to create a spotlight for growing Twitch streamers that I know you will enjoy.

This week I want to introduce to you Infamous_Lite! She’s a variety streamer; good times, and

Give us an introduction to who you are and the in and outs about your broadcast.

I consider myself the host of the One & Only Pajama Party on Twitch. My brand started off &
still is Gaming In Pajamas, which is literally what I do. So I am like why not, but pajamas are not required! This is because 1. Not everyone wears them 2. It means basically game how you are comfortable. I started the Pajama Party because they are just fun!

Share with the class about your Twitch channel and your community.

My channel was designed originally for my bad game play & banter, but as the community
started to grow, I do more interactive games & watching things with them. The community is
made of all different types of people, why I like it because I am versatile with most things.

Twitch is all about games and creativity. What type of content do you stream on your
channel?

Almost anything, my main thing is Zombie & some horror games, but I also enjoy streaming The Sims, Marbles & just doing video challenges with the chat, but anything is up for discussion (almost lol).

What made you start this journey in streaming and when did you start?

I started a little over 2 years ago. The reason I started is that my partners & I who play together have so much fun & our interactions with one another are hilarious. So I am like why not stream this for others to see & laugh as well.

What are some of the issues and challenges that you’ve faced on Twitch and how did you
overcome them?

My main issue is some of the people I have encountered in this industry that just use you for
things, I am a really giving person & like helping people, but not being used & dropped for the
next “best thing”. What I had to do was limit who I helped & supported. Some people put up a
good front, but don’t have good intentions. Also before Twitch, when I just gamed online, I used to have people talk down to me & just be mean, because I was a female gamer, with not such a girly voice. So in order not to have these “troll” issues on Twitch, I became “infamous_lite” & welcome the trolls, because they can’t bully me… This is my home & you will leave before I do. So I fixed that before it could become a problem for me. (maybe I should teach a class lol)

What are some of the resources and support that you use, that’s out there for creating a
broadcast on Twitch?

Oh, I use all kinds of things, YouTube is my best tool. If I cannot figure it out, YouTube & google. So how to do certain commands & alerts I have learned from watching others (it’s out there right). So I recently got a decent PC to help do this along with SLOBS, Stream Elements & studying other streamers (but I make it my own). Also my community, I have some awesome people who have helped me with art (such as emotes & graphics) unique to my channel.

Blerd is all things nerd and geek through a people of color culture lens. What makes you
a blerd?

Well, I am a bit nerdy, loving video games & comic characters along with “weird” movies. I
totally love things zombie-related & a huge fan of “The Walking Dead”. I am not the typical nerd or geek, but I do consider myself one. Also, a fan of old school wrestling & I love X-men & Resident Evil movies, more than the game (don’t judge). I am somewhat socially awkward, but I love to have fun with people & even more so by gaming & streaming since I can stay at home lol.

Round 2:

You’ve only been given 3 games to play for the rest of your life, what are you playing and
why?

Mario Party game (I love a good virtual board game, plus my Mom loved it)
Left 4 Dead 2 (this got me back into gaming a lot & I love to kill zombies)
Sims (so I can live a different life sometimes lol)

Which video game character is bae?

Well, I don’t play as many male characters, so I’m going to choose my fav (who could be bae)
which is Chun Li, who is the first playable female character in Street Fighter. Yes Street Fighter, I am old school. She is a bada** that takes no BS.

What’s a game that you absolutely hate but everyone else might like?

Apex (I just hate it) lol

Your favorite person is making your favorite dish, who is it and what is it?

Can I have 2, my daughters & Chicken Parm is my favorite, but I don’t know if they can make
that, so I will take pizza!

If you could be any superhero who would it be and why?

Not sure if you’d consider a superhero, but mine is Michonne from “The Walking Dead”. She is
a smart black woman surviving the zombie apocalypse, with a Katina! Just plain awesome!
