Yasuke Official Trailer

Blerd is highly anticipating the release of the Yasuke anime. Netflix gives us a second trailer for the potentially the best Black anime of the year. The Netflix Orignal Anime Yasuke is created by LeSean Thomas (Cannon Busters, Black Dynamite, The Boondocks ) and Studio Mappa (JuJutsu Kaisen, God of High School, Attack on Titan) and is featuring Lakeith Stanfield (Atlanta, Get Out, Sorry to Bother You). With Afro Samurai making our list of favorite anime characters, it will be interesting to see if Yasuke can make the list. Will you be checking this one out? In a war-torn feudal Japan filled with mechs and magic, the greatest ronin never known, Yasuke, struggles to maintain a peaceful existence after a past life of violence. But when a local village becomes the center of social upheaval between warring daimyo, Yasuke must take up his sword and transport a mysterious child who is the target of dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords.

A peaceful boatman once known as the Black Samurai is pulled back into conflict when he takes a little girl with mysterious powers under his wing.
